With an eye to the future, a local hospital hired a photographer to chronicle a day at their hospital. The year was 1951. Doctors, nurses, patients, hospital facilities.....all were documented in the richness of black and white photography. Many of the photos tell a story that deserves to be shared.
Each photo had to be rescanned individually, and the quality of the scanning had to be geared for high-end printing. Time was not a friend to many of the photos as the quality of the pages had begun to deteriorate. Much time was spent on the fine details to make the final product a superior representation of the hospital's past.
