The Metropolitan Museum of Art recently entrusted slides from the past century to our preservation and digitization specialists that captured many of their landmark art collections, special exhibition galleries, and cultural treasures. Many of the slides were beginning to deteriorate from being loaned out and aging through the years. Once the collection is preserved digitally, history can be visited well into the future from any laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
